about

After graduating in Thermo-Mechanical Engineering and a research period at the Von Karman Institute in Brussels, he attended the DanceTheater Atelier at Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi in Milan.
He continued his training as a performer following IFA – Inteatro Festival Academy with Idoia Zabaleta, Geraldine Pilgrim, Iris Karayan and Claudia Dias. With the latter and with João Fiadeiro, he later looked into the practice of RTC Method.
Since 2010 he has studied/worked with internationally renowned dancers and choreographers – Lisa Kraus and Elena Demyanenko (Trisha Brown Dance Company), Julie Anne Stanzak, Juliana Neves and Quan Bui Ngoc (Les Ballets C de la B), Masaki Iwana, Gabriela Carrizo (Peeping Tom), Yasmine Hugonnet, Jan Fabre, Gisele Vienne and Romeo Castellucci.
He works as a performer for Enzo Cosimi, Mara Cassiani, Antonio Marras, Jonathan Burrows/Matteo Fargion and Alessandro Sciarroni.
Parallel to the activity as a dancer, he has begun his own authorial journey. Driven by the precision of RTC (Real Time Composition), he focuses its research on creating atmospheres as the result of the juxtaposition of images structured on multiple levels of representation. In his works he uses the body to investigate the archetypes of our culture with particular attention to the perturbing, to all that is connected to the interdict desire. The work reaches an original development in the rehearsal room only after a careful research that crosses and combines several fields: after having investigated a subject through writing, reading, discussion and audiovisual research, he translates the matured imaginary through the body.
He participated with his first solo, Emily, at the International Dance Competition Salicedoro (first prize and Premio Armunia) and in 2014 he was selected by Anticorpi XL network for “Vetrina della Giovane Danza d’Autore” with Siegfried.
His work Paradise, winner of NEXT 2015/2016 announcement by the Lombardy region, is premiered at Danae Festival 2015 and it is selected by Anticorpi XL network for “Vetrina della Giovane Danza d’Autore” 2016.
New Horizon, a project supported by the European network Open Latitudes, makes its world première at Danae Festival 2016.
Love Souvenir, awarded the Inteatro Festival call and NEXT 2017-2018 announcement by the Lombardy Region, is premiered at Inteatro Festival 2018.  His last work, Party Girl, was awarded the Premio Prospettiva Danza 2020 and Cross Award 2020 and was selected by NID New Italian Dance Platform 2021.
